Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Diploma, 18+ years of age, CPR and First Aid Certified
Reports to: Childcare Center Director
Performance Responsibilities:
- Supervise and provide activities for infants and/or children.
- Work directly with the infants and/or children in the program.
- Listen to and follow directions of the Childcare Center Director and Assistant Director.
- Participates in and completes all required continuing education trainings provided by Piedmont Schools.
- Completes Master Teacher training and certification.
- Work together with other childcare center staff to meet the needs of all children.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and public relations skills.
- Maintain staff time sheet.
- Maintain physical environment of classroom, ensuring safety and security.
- Provide appropriate information to Childcare Center Director and/ or Assistant Director for program needs.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Abides by all district, federal and state laws, and regulatory agencies.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Terms of Employment: Work as needed.
Evaluation: Evaluation by Childcare Center Director in accordance with BOE policy
Physical Demands:
- Ability to routinely and continually bend, squat, stand, walk, or climb stairs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to do outside duties in inclement weather.
